Scissor lift is a platform which vertically moves in order to allow staff to get to high levels. Scissor lifts are made along with a pantograph - linked, folding supports in an 'X' pattern. Upward movement takes place when pressure is applied to the outside of the lowest set of supports, propelling the work platform vertically by lengthening the 'X' pattern.
